This web part just had nothing in the dropdown list. It was fine in test, but not live.
I printed out the User Profile properties from the SSP in Live and Test to compare.
In Live, there were 2 entries with the Property Name “Interests”.. which didn’t seem right. One of them was set to “Disabled” (upon editing to look at it), so I renamed this to “Interests1″.
The dropdown in the Current User filter now has values.
